The Moinho da Palmeira Road, which connects the municipal fire department roundabout to Bom João and Atalaia, in Faro, will be requalified and gain, among other improvements, a new bike path.
The work was awarded last week to Sociedade José de Sousa Barra & Filhos and will cost around 358 euros.
The works include «the repaving of the road and sidewalk, in order to guarantee the regularity of the entire layout of this structural artery of the city of Faro, as well as road marking, including color bands, lanes and road lines', describes the Chamber of Faro.
This is in addition to the new cycle path, "which will thus become part of the network of cycle paths in Faro».
