The Albufeira Commercial Association will organize a maritime march, this Saturday, July 24th, from 18:00, with departure at Praia dos Pescadores. The objective is to ask again for “specific support” for entrepreneurs due to the pandemic.
After the departure at Praia dos Pescadores, the march will continue to Praia dos Olhos de Água, returning to the starting point.
This demonstration, which will take place at sea, comes after another, held at thes streets of Albufeira, which «gathered 230 vehicles and 600 people», remember the association.
In a note sent to the press, this entity explains that it wants to be heard, once again, «to appeal for specific support for the Algarve and in particular for Albufeira», given the crisis that the tourism sector is facing due to the Covid pandemic. 19.
The association has also launched a petition, called "S.Ó.S Albufeira", which asks for a concrete support plan for the Algarve and a reanalysis of the assessment criteria for the application of the Covid-19 transmission risk level.
