Traditional crafts (works, basketwork, tin making, ceramics, trapology...) and new creations, regional food products such as honey, bread, cakes, jams, liqueurs, flowers, creams and natural soaps, handmade toys, books and music are the proposals for another Summer Market in Cacela Velha, scheduled for Saturday, June 26, between 17:00 and 22:00.
The initiative is carried out in compliance with the control and safety standards defined by the DGS within the scope of the COVID 19 pandemic. Therefore, as the organization explains, the usual sale of snacks will not take place and the number of participants will be reduced to around half, to increase the safety distance between benches.
Anyone interested in participating you should click here and download the document with mandatory rules to be adopted by participants in the Mercadinho de Cacela Velha, taken from the “Coronavirus Contingency Plan for Handicraft Shows/Fairs for the Summer 2020”, by the Vila Real de Santo António City Council and its respective registration form – handicrafts, food products or antiques/antiques/second-hand items.
The form must be completed and forwarded by the 16th of June to the emails [email protected] or [email protected]. The registration forms must be accompanied by photographs of the products that will be appreciated in the selection process.
