“Marafada Quarantine” returns to make us laugh at Boa Esperança

Original texts and lyrics are by Carlos Pacheco

The comedy “Marafada Quarantine” returns this Saturday, June 19, at 21 pm, to the Boa Esperança Atlético Clube Portimonense room for a series of shows.

With original texts and lyrics by Carlos Pacheco, “Marafada Quarantine” “is a good example of how local artists do not get discouraged and raise their arms to face the obstacles caused in recent times by the Covid-19 pandemic”, says the Portimão Chamber .

“The comedy follows the adventures of a family as hilarious as it is dysfunctional, during the period of confinement, and a generous dose of laughter is immediately guaranteed, because “laughing is the best medicine”, he adds.

When the state of emergency is declared, panic sets in inside the small apartment of the Sampaio family, who are on the verge of divorce. Everything starts to go wrong when Anatolio Sampaio, banker and head of the family, realizes that, thanks to Covid–19, all his plans are going down the drain. Now, and indefinitely, he will have to share his apartment with his family and … some unwanted ones.

The show respects the contingency plan determined by the Directorate-General of Health and has a capacity limited to 100 people, being presented on Saturday nights in the coming months, always from 21 pm.

Tickets can be booked on show days, between 15:00 pm and 21:00 pm, by calling 967 188 290 and 964 389 752, or by emailing [email protected], where additional information should also be requested.

This comedy has already been presented in August 2020 at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão.
