Entrepreneur André Leman, 42, is the Liberal Initiative candidate for the Almancil Parish Council.
The presentation dinner for the candidate and his team will take place at the Sociedade Recreativa Almancilense, next Tuesday, June 8, at 19:30 pm. The dinner will have a limited capacity, in order to respect the safety standards of the General Directorate of Health.
André Leman was born in 1979, in the city of Kinchasa, Zaire, currently the Democratic Republic of Congo. Shortly after being born,
he moved to Belgium, where his mother is from, having come to Almancil, in 1987. At age 12 he ended up moving to São Brás de Alportel and in 2012 he definitely returned to Almancil.
Married, father of a boy, André Leman is also a businessman and citizen concerned about the fate of the people of his land. Studied Tourism and
Marketing, at the University of Algarve, and, later, he took a Post-Graduate degree in Safety Management and Management, at INUAF.
He has always been connected to the area of Sports for people with disabilities, ending up working in institutions such as the Portuguese Cerebral Palsy Association, where he coached two wheelchair basketball teams and is currently responsible for a sports project
adapted in Lagos.
He was also a trainer at the Association of Entrepreneurs of Quarteira and Vilamoura, at AHETA, as well as at other public and private entities.
He is currently the owner of two companies: SLAM – Marketing & Consulting, and BB – Porteiros, also accumulating the functions of Director
of Castro Marim Golf and Sporting Clube Farense SAD.
