Quarteira students invited to participate in the Science 21 Meeting

Students Afonso Oliveira and Leandra Cardoso were invited to participate by the National Agency Ciência Viva and the European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO) Portugal

Two 7th grade students from the Laura Ayres Schools Group, in Quarteira, are participating, until this Tuesday, June 29, in the Ciência 21 Meeting that is taking place in Lisbon. 

Students Afonso Oliveira and Leandra Cardoso were invited to participate by the National Agency Ciência Viva and the European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO) Portugal.

This invitation came as a result of the work they developed in the Climate Detectives project, in the last two years, and which was related to Lagoa do Almargem.

Young people will participate in a total of three sessions (“Live Science Centers and Farms in the revitalization of the territory”, “Space from 7 to 17 with Ciência Viva TIN TIM” and “Digital Planet and Earth Observation: new challenges in Portugal cooperation -France”), accompanied by teacher Patrícia Jesus.
