The Municipality of Aljezur will financially support Rota Vicentina, Clube Instrução e Recreio Rogilense and Clube de Caça e Pesca of the Municipality of Aljezur.
To the Association for the Promotion of Nature Tourism in Costa Alentejana and Vicentina, the Chamber will grant support of 11.400 euros for the maintenance and management of Rota Vicentina, a network of routes under the responsibility of the association.
This amount is also intended to help this entity to continue the «support and training work for companies in the municipality of Aljezur, as a result of the dynamics of the ID-Provere project», and the investment in Cycling.
This aid comes "at a time when the association has suffered from a drop in revenue", because of the pandemic, and is justified "by the importance of the project for the municipality, for the region and for the member companies", which makes it "fundamental that the association continues to function and develop its important role'.
As for Clube Instrução e Recreio Rogilense, €1752 will be allocated “to cover expenses with the payment of water, electricity, telecommunications, employee and Social Security, in the months of March and April of this year”.
Also in this case, difficulties related to Covid-19 are at stake.
In addition to these two supports, there will be a €3131 support that will be given to the Fishing and Hunting Club of the Municipality of Aljezur «to cover the cost of repairing the disc harrow, in order to continue carrying out the firebreak works for construction of cement plants and for the protection of the forest against fires».
