«The Algarve suits you! Always» is the motto of the new online campaign thinking about the summer holidays

New Algarve Tourism campaign will be active this month and bet on a video «to inspire tourists and increase bookings in the coming months»

«The Algarve suits you! Forever» is what the country's biggest tourist destination wants to remind the Portuguese and Spaniards to celebrate their summer holidays in the region, at a time when Portugal's last phase of disarray is taking place.

The campaign starts today (the 5th) and focuses on advertising social media – Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channels –, «with the objective of motivating national and Spanish tourists to spend their next holidays in the south of Portugal, reinforcing their confidence in the Algarve brand and also its notoriety», says Turismo do Algarve in a note from press.

This campaign is based on a motivational film that, in just a few seconds, will try to show the reasons that make the Algarve the best place to regain strength and spirit in this last stage of distrust.

The new campaign «The Algarve is good for you! Ever." it continues the previous «The Algarve is good for you», launched by Turismo do Algarve in June 2020, and «recovers its motto to show that the region can be visited at any time of the year, with all safety conditions, and that has a tourist offer for the most different tastes: spas, spas, outdoor activities and in contact with nature, sports, culture, heritage, good food and wines, the best beaches in Europe and high quality hotels in the city or in rural areas'.

For 15 days, «the campaign will thus keep the Algarve in the top of mind of millions of potential tourists, through the most influential and far-reaching social networks in the world», adds Turismo do Algarve.

«Now that Portugal has come out of a state of emergency, and with the pandemic data improving, it is time to rescue the desire to travel, never forgetting the safety of everyone. Here we leave the challenge to the Portuguese and Spaniards to visit us soon, now with another pretext: the recently announced 87 Blue Flag beaches in the region that will be flown in the next bathing season», says the president of Algarve Tourism João Fernandes.
