Hugo Amorim, a professional with «more than 20 years of experience», is Água Monchique's new industrial director.
Hugo Amorim began his professional career at Unicer, currently the Super Bock Group, in 2000, having played in various roles during the more than 15 years he was part of the company. He started out as a maintenance technician, gradually achieving different responsibilities within the scope of industrial management and production.
In 2016, he collaborated with Carlsberg in Malawi, where he was industrial manager for 9 months. He returned to Portugal, again to Unicer, to assume the position of project manager
The following year, he had new international experience as Sodiba's plant manager, a project he embraced until 2020. He coordinated the production, maintenance and beer production teams, to ensure the quality standards defined by the Heineken group in the manufacture and packaging of Sagres beer .
Hugo Amorim graduated from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto and specialized in Project Management at Porto Business School. In addition, he completed a postgraduate degree in Operations Management and Industrial Logistics at Cenertec – Energy and Technology Centre.
