Algarve businessmen give more than 13 thousand euros to Refood de Almancil

Entrepreneurs combined their passion for racing with a solidary cause

Entrepreneurs Joe Moutain and John Seabrook, who have businesses in the Algarve, raised more than 13 thousand euros for Refood de Almancil. 

Joe Moutain, founder of the company of managment SandyBlue, and John Seabrook, from BJs Oceanside restaurant, in Quarteira, decided to combine their passion for running with a solidary cause, through a 42 km marathon.

The race was successful and took place last Friday, March 26, starting and ending at the BJs Oceanside restaurant, having covered Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and the Ria Formosa estuary.

The pair were very happy to have successfully completed the challenge and thanked everyone who contributed to this cause.

“Thanks to the incredible support of everyone, we managed to raise more than 13 thousand euros for Refood in Almancil. This is one of the largest donations the institution has ever received and will help hundreds of people who are living in very difficult times», they said.
