A total of 43 containers for loading and refilling electronic cigarettes and 52 counterfeit items were seized by the GNR Tax Action Detachment of Faro, last Friday, the 23rd, in the municipalities of Silves and Loulé.
As part of an inspection aimed at the control of the movement of goods aimed at inspecting transport companies, the military of the Guard inspected a vehicle, having verified that, within it, various counterfeit material was being transported.
43 containers for loading and refilling electronic cigarettes, commonly known as e-liquids, were seized, totaling 1,7 liters, with a presumed value of 860 euros, as well as 52 counterfeit articles, with an estimated value of 520 euros .
Three notices of administrative offense for irregular introduction into consumption and two notices of news for counterfeiting and illegal use of trademarks were prepared, and the facts were referred to the Judicial Courts of Silves and of Faro.
The GNR warns that "the intra-community acquisition of e-liquids via the internet can only be carried out through a tax representative, upon payment of the tax due in national territory".
