The prime minister announced today, January 22, that, as of Saturday, there will be a total interruption of flights between Portugal and the United Kingdom, with the exception of those of a humanitarian nature to repatriate Portuguese and British citizens.
António Costa announced this measure after having participated by videoconference in an informal summit of European Union leaders aimed at coordinating measures to combat covid-19 among the Member States.
