Vila Real de Santo António school cafeterias managed by the municipality remain open, with the aim of assisting the most economically vulnerable families.

The Chamber of VRSA "will keep the cafeterias under its purview in operation in the three parishes, thus guaranteeing the supply of school meals to students covered by the School Social Action (ASE), upon prior appointment by the supervisors education”, announced the municipality.

In the parish of Vila Nova de Cacela, the Manuel Cabanas Kindergarten refectory will be in operation, which is managed by the municipality. interested parties.

«Considering that, among the students enjoying meals, some were in isolation, the direction of the Group, with the agreement of the municipality, opted to provide the meals in a take-away regime», revealed the Chamber of VRSA.

In the elementary school of Monte Gordo and from the 2nd and 3rd cycles D. José I, the school cafeterias, managed by the D. José I Schools Group, will also remain open for the provision of meals to students covered by ASE, in person.

At Santo António school, the cafeteria managed by the Municipality of VRSA will also remain open for the provision of meals.

The Guardians of Education of students from the D. José I Group who are interested in this service, as communicated by the director, must schedule meals in advance.

According to the information provided by the Regional Education Delegate to the Directors of the Groupings, meals should be served in person or, exceptionally, in a take-away regime.
