Natal: Lagos offers shows, cinema, shop windows and vouchers for local businesses

Lagos Municipality has adapted its usual Christmas schedule, offering residents and visitors a variety of experiences to promote the values ​​of the Christmas season

Shows, cinema sessions, a competition for showcases and initiatives to boost local businesses mark Christmas in Lagos, announced the City Council.

In a partnership with ACRAL, one of the focuses of the lacobrigense municipality's Christmas campaign is to encourage Christmas shopping in local businesses.

As such, it sent an invitation to all merchants who have an establishment in the municipality of Lagos to enter the “Christmas Showcase Competition”, gratifying the top three winners with monetary prizes.

In addition, through the “Christmas in Local Commerce” initiative, customers of participating establishments can also qualify for prizes. 50 vouchers worth 100 euros will be offered to be discounted in the lacobrigense trade (more information here).

The Lagos Zoo also enters the celebrations with its Natalândia, from the 5th to the 27th of December (10 to 17:00), guaranteeing the possibility of visiting more than 180 species of animals and offering the youngsters a diversified Christmas program.

The Municipality of Lagos will also offer tickets for two free screenings of the film “Come Away – Once upon a time” on December 17th and 22nd, at 17 pm, at Algarcine Cinemas de Lagos (subject to capacity, with due distance physicist). In this film dubbed in Portuguese, the magic of fairy tales and family ties will bring a truly emotional experience for the whole family.

In December, the Centro Cultural de Lagos will stage theater and music. Today, the 4th (19 pm), “O Sonho do Ernesto” is presented, a play for the little ones about a hilarious elf with a cell phone addiction.

Between the 9th and 11th of December (19:30), it is the moment for the Associação de Dança de Lagos to shine with the show “Sonhar a Dançar”.

“Jingle all the way” is the title of the concert by the singer Ana Laíns with the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve, on the 18th (19:30 pm), promising some Christmas themes and many surprises.

Until January 1st, parking at the Parque da Frente Ribeirinha is free for 3 hours, upon presentation of a purchase receipt for more than 10 euros. In the case of ZED – Limited Duration Parking Zones, parking will be free during the same period.

For the safety of the entire community, all activities and initiatives of the “Christmas in Lagos” campaign comply with all health regulations in force.
