The Dentist's Office is already operating at the Aljezur Health Center, with consultations from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 16:00 pm.
This office opened within the scope of a collaboration protocol between the Regional Health Administration (ARS) of the Algarve and the Municipality of Aljezur, entitled “Oral Health”.
The Municipality financed the acquisition of equipment, installed in a room at the Health Center, to be used for this purpose.
ARS Algarve provides a dentist for this Office, every day between 9:00 am and 16:00 pm, with appointments being scheduled through the family doctors.
"In this same agreement it was established that the equipment cannot be relocated to another health unit without the prior knowledge and consent of the Municipality of Aljezur," says the municipality.
This new health service in Aljezur prevents users from having to travel to Lagos, as previously planned.
