A patient in the Portimão home who died was a man with "many comorbidities"

This man was hospitalized on Tuesday, the 13th, ending up dying the next day

O user of Lar Diogo Gonçalves, in Portimão, who died this Wednesday, October 14, victim of Covid-19, was a man "in his 50s and with many comorbidities".

The information was given moments ago by Ana Cristina Guerreiro, Regional Health Delegate of the Algarve, at a press conference that is taking place at the Civil Protection of the Algarve headquarters, in Loulé.

This man had been hospitalized on Tuesday, the 13th, ending up dying the following day, the delegate also revealed.

This morning tests are being made to all users and employees of Lar Diogo Gonçalves, but so far, as revealed by the regional health delegate, the tests have been "negative". The results of all analyzes will be "known tomorrow".

Lar Diogo Gonçalves «not long ago had been tested and everything was negative», said this morning Isilda Gomes, mayor of Portimão, to the Sul Informação, when our newspaper broke the news of this death, first hand.

Lar Diogo Gonçalves, located in the center of Portimão, half-walled with the Igreja do Colégio, is one of the two residential structures of the Support Center for the Elderly of Portimão.
