Bad weather postponed the start of the tennis tournament headlines in Vilamoura

Under 14 international tournament scores for the Tennis Europe ranking

The bad weather that is felt yesterday, October 20th, all over the country has postponed to today, the 21st, the start of the main tables of Vilamoura International Under 14 Magnesium-K Active, international tournament of under 14 scoring for the “ ranking” of Tennis Europe organized by Premier Sports until 25th October at Vilamoura Tennis & Padel Academy.

After two days dedicated to qualifying, which won nine Portuguese players (Mariana Paciletti da Costa, Madalena Matias, Diana Filipa Branco Fernandes, Raquel Chainho Serpa Neves and Isabela Marincas in females, Rodrigo Ferro Duarte, Salvador Simões, Martim Bernardo and Vasco Ramos in men), the main teams were scheduled to start this Tuesday.

In the women's competition, 19 of the 32 young tennis players who go to the singles game are Portuguese: those already mentioned were joined by Angelina Voloshchuk (second seed), Maria Pinto (fourth), Jessica Para (fifth), Maria Pereira (eighth ), Maria Sardinha, Bárbara Brito, Paula Jucan, Amália Suciu, Analu Freitas, a wild card quartet composed by Patrícia Gui, Maria Garcia, Iara Guerreiro Gonçalves and Alice Ramos and also the “lucky loser” Carmen Madile.

In the male frame, 15 of the 32 protagonists of the individual variant represent the Portuguese colors: the four qualifiers were joined by Rodrigo Fernandes (fourth series head), João Dinis Silva (seventh), Tiago Abreu, Diego Fernandez da Silva, João Lopes, José Freitas, Salvador Monteiro and another guest quartet formed by Rodrigo Cruz, Duarte Trocado, Gonçalo Quintela and Tomás Martins.

In the singles tables of Vilamoura International Under 14 Magnesium-K Active, tennis players from 18 countries come to play, with Portugal being the one with the most representatives, followed by France.
