Startup Portimão will mark its anniversary next Monday, August 10th, with the launch of support guides for entrepreneurs and investors and with a “talk” with one of the most recent entrepreneurs in the municipality's incubator. João Torres, Secretary of State for Commerce, Services and Consumer Protection, will be present to mark the date.
The program will take place at Startup Portimão's premises, located at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, complying with the safety standards of the General Directorate of Health.
The opening session is scheduled for 16:30 pm, with the participation of Vítor Neto, president of NERA – Business Association of the Algarve Region, Paulo Pinheiro, administrator of Parkalgar, Luís Matos Martins, responsible for the entity's partner in the management of the incubator and by Isilda Gomes, President of the Municipality of Portimão.
João Torres, Secretary of State for Commerce, Services and Consumer Protection, will be present at the public presentation of the Guide for Entrepreneurs “Portimão é a Option” and the Guide for Investors “Um Mergulho em Portimão”, with bilingual editions in Portuguese and English .
After this presentation, the results achieved by Startup Portimão between 2017 and 2020 will be announced.
At 17:30 pm, there will be a talk with Leonardo Silva, from Breakfast Away, an online food delivery platform, dedicated to hotel breakfasts.
«Leonardo is one of the most recent entrepreneurs in the Portimonense incubator under the StartUP Visa, a program to welcome foreign entrepreneurs who develop technology-based entrepreneurship projects and/or innovation in incubators certified by IAPMEI – Institute for Support to Small and Medium Enterprises and Innovation, as is the case of Startup Portimão», explains the City Council.
The 3rd anniversary celebrations will be broadcast live, from 16:30 pm, on the page on Facebook at Startup Portimão.
