The Tavira Urbanization Plan (PUT) is already in force, after having been published in Diário da República, on the 24th of August.
To ensure "greater visibility, interaction and transparency", the Municipality provides, through the Map Portal, interactive access to the plan, in the list of topics “Planning and Urbanism”.
It is also available, for the most frequent users, a new advanced application for confrontation of territorial plans "which makes it possible to identify, depending on the area of interest, the themes of the graphic pieces, metrics and indicators that are important for understanding the information generated and the selection of the applicable regulation".
The PUT, emphasizes the Câmara de Tavira, «is a territorial management instrument that responds to current needs, to the defined territorial model and to the regimes of safeguard, preservation and enhancement of the elements in the area of incidence, in particular, the heritage, thus remaining the Municipality with an updated plan, compatible with the legal requirements in force and with the required rigor».
