Photographs by Ana Abrão “inaugurate” exhibition space at the Consulate General of Brazil in Faro

Every day, a hundred people pass by the Consulate in Faro

Ana Abrão is an award-winning photographer born in Brazil, but naturalized Portuguese, who one day, in 2016, took her backpack and camera, and traveled for 13 months to the East, passing through countries like India, Nepal, Thailand or Singapore.

A sample of his work is now on display, until the end of August, at the Consulate General of Brazil in Faro, opening the new exhibition space created in the old and historic building of the Algarve capital.

According to the Consul, the objective is to «bring a little art to the Brazilian community» residing in the Algarve.

The exhibition is open to the general public during the Consulate's opening hours.
