Missing man was found dead at the bottom of a ravine in Aljezur

A man who had been missing for four days was found dead this Saturday, 18 July, at the bottom of a ravine in Aljezur. 

A news was advanced by Correio da Manhã which says that the man was found, «already lifeless, at the bottom of a ravine, in the Martins Estevens area, about three kilometers from his home».

The victim is 62-year-old Arménio Costa, who “would have suffered a run-off with the van he was driving”.

The family members "alert the GNR and began to search with the help of friends, firefighters and forest sappers."

According to Correio da Manhã, this man lived in the Carrascalinho area and was seen, for the last time, “in a cafe, on Wednesday afternoon, in Aljezur. It was when he was on his way home that he suffered the accident».

Also according to this newspaper, the “last cell phone signal was recorded on Thursday morning”.
