Tavira celebrates, this Wednesday, June 24th, its City Day with an online concert by the fado singer Cuca Roseta.
Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the municipality had to adapt these commemorations.
The celebrations begin at 10:00 am, in Paços do Concelho, with the raising of flags, followed, at 10:15 am, in the Salão Nobre, with the solemn session to award medals for good service and dedication to employees with 20 and 30 years of service.
Closing the celebrations, at 21 pm, on the Municipality's Facebook page, the concert by the fado singer Cuca Roseta will take place, whose recording, by André Tentugal, took place at the Municipal Museum of Tavira – Palácio da Galeria.
This musical moment will be «dedicated, essentially, to his most recent work in homage to Amália Rodrigues».
