A hundred employees and educators of public kindergartens, under the responsibility and responsibility of the Municipality of Silves, underwent diagnostic tests and immunity to Covid-19, and their results were all negative. Therefore, these equipments reopened yesterday, June 3rd.
In total, employees and educators from the Silves and Silves Sul School Groups were tested, with the Municipality of Silves bearing the cost of the tests, in order to «safeguard and guarantee the opening of these spaces in safety».
The Municipality of Silves points out that, «despite the late guidance of the competent authorities in this matter not identifying the performance of tests to Covid-19 as indispensable and mandatory for the reopening of these spaces, the Municipality of Silves decided to replace itself, once again, with the State, bearing the costs of carrying out the tests to all professionals of these services, so that all safety standards were guaranteed in this reopening, both for employees, children and guardians».
The Municipality of Silves now welcomes «the results obtained, in yet another step towards the gradual return of the community to normality, in a safe way».
