There are already 350 people recovered from Covid-19 in the Algarve, which represents 60,8% of the total of 576 who have registered in the region to date. The data are from the Regional Health Authority, released this afternoon by the District Commission for Civil Protection of the Algarve.
In other words, at 00:00 today, the 26th, 3 more new cases had been registered in the region, although these numbers have not yet been reflected. in the epidemiological bulletin released by the DGS, in the early afternoon.
According to information from the Regional Health Authority, recently sent to newsrooms, there are currently 209 active cases in the Algarve region, but only 5 people are hospitalized, none of them in Intensive Care.
As to cluster of the Festa de Odiáxere, the Health Authority informs that 1990 tests have already been carried out, which have confirmed, so far, 119 cases. Only two of these people are hospitalized.
A total of 21 infected children (from 0 to 9 years old) are connected to this party, to which another 17 young people, from 10 to 19 years old, join. The bulk of those infected are in the age group from 20 to 29 years old (43), followed by those from 30 to 39 years old (21).
There are also 7 people from 40 to 49 years old, 5 from 50 to 59 years old and as many from 60 to 69 years old. Not all of these people were at the party, as many of these contagions are secondary.
With regard to analyses, at the moment the number of tests carried out corresponds to about 8,4% of the population residing in the Algarve.
