The Chamber of Faro opened a competition to hire "20 workers under a contract of employment in public functions for an indefinite period, for the category of firefighter-recruiting sapper".
The notice of the opening of this procedure was published yesterday in Diário da República and interested parties have ten working days, as of today, to present their candidacies.

«The professional fire brigades of the local administration are responsible, among other functions, for fighting fires; provide assistance to populations in the event of fires, floods, landslides, collisions and in all accidents, catastrophes or calamities; provide relief to shipwrecked and carry out underwater searches and carry out relief and transport activities for the victims and the sick, including pre-hospital emergency", frames the Chamber of faro.
"This investment is part of the strategy pursued by the municipality, of continuous reinforcement of the human and material conditions of the two corporations at the service of our municipality", concluded the municipality.
