ETIC_Algarve already allows completion of higher education at a German music school

Students can obtain the BA (Bachelors of Arts) which corresponds to Level 6 of the National Qualifications Framework, in which degrees are also included.

ETIC_Algarve, a school based in Faro, has established a partnership with the German music school “dBs Music Berlin” which allows the completion of studies equivalent to a degree.

In a process that began at the end of 2018, ETIC_Algarve students and former students who have completed the two-year Music Creation, Production and Sound Techniques course can now apply for the 3rd year, too known as Top Up Year, from the course of Creative Audio Production and Sound Engineering, at this school located in Berlin.

In this way, they can obtain the BA (Bachelors of Arts) which corresponds to Level 6 of the National Qualifications Framework, in which degrees are also included.

Thus, «we continue to create opportunities for our students to build a professional future of assured quality, since this school guarantees the continuity of the teaching methodology that so characterizes ETIC_Algarve: pragmatic and project-oriented, where learning is done by practicing, providing an extremely enriching and unforgettable educational experience that allows them to continue their studies at a higher level», explains the school's management.

After the partnerships established with Prague College, in the Czech Republic and with Teesside University in the United Kingdom, this creative school adds this German music school to its network of academic European partners.

Two days after being marked as Europe Day (on the 9th of May), ETIC_Algarve presents a partnership that began to be worked on precisely in the context of the Erasmus projects that the school has been developing since 2015.

These projects have already allowed, in addition to the establishment of three academic protocols, more than 70 student mobilities for European internships and about 30 staff and trainers mobilities, as well as the development of three projects of strategic partnerships within the scope of "Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of Good Practices”.

This commitment to European expansion «is an integral part of the European Development Plan of ETIC_Algarve» and which has already seen its work recognized with the attribution of the Best Practices 2018 Award, given by the National Erasmus+ Education and Training Agency.
