Algarve has 285 recovered and fewer active cases [with map]

Number of active cases has been decreasing systematically

The number of people who have recovered from Covid-19 in the Algarve continues to increase and is now at 285, revealed today the District Civil Protection Commission (CDPC) of Faro. This means that 77,7% of the 367 people who were diagnosed with the disease in the region, since the beginning of the pandemic, they are already cured.

In the report released by the CDPC, based on data provided by the health authorities, one more case is identified in the region than those that were in the epidemiological bulletin of the Regional Health Directorate this Friday. The DGS did not report any new cases today, compared to yesterday, Thursday, the day the number of cases had risen to 366 in the Algarve.

The four new cases of the last two days were registered in Loulé (3) and in Faro (1), found the Sul Informação.

Despite this increase, the number of recoveries, six more than in the last two days, allowed to reduce, once again, the number of active cases, which stands at 67.

Here, taking into account that, in addition to those recovered, there are also 15 deaths that were registered in the region, the number of people who are still sick with Covid-19 is already less than a fifth of the total number of accumulated cases (18,25 .XNUMX%).

Of these 67 people, five are hospitalized in one of the region's hospitals, one of them in intensive care. The remaining 62 are recovering in their homes.

According to the CDPC of Faro, there are 99 people under active surveillance throughout the district.
