A patient at the home of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia in Boliqueime died yesterday, the 28th, of Covid-19, the institution announced on your facebook page. Arminda de Sousa Antão was hospitalized at the University Hospital Center of the Algarve since the 10th, where she died.
This was the third death caused by this disease among users of this home, where on the 3rd of April 21 cases of infection by the new coronavirus were detected, all among seniors. The number was, however, growing and reached four dozen cases, among users and employees.
On the 19th, as Sul Informação advanced first-hand, the first user of this home, victim of the new coronavirus, died, Maria dos Remédios Silva Guerreiro, 92 years old, mother of writer Lídia Jorge.
On Sunday, the 26th, a second user died, Maria do Carmo Neves Ataíde, 81 years old, victim of the same disease.
