Portimão will walk “With Greta through the Air…”

Original texts and lyrics by Carlos Pacheco

The name of the young activist Greta is the inspiration for Boa Esperança's Portuguese-style magazine, which opens on March 14, at the headquarters of this historic community in Portimão.

Boa Esperança Atlético Clube Portimonense has scheduled the premiere of the Portuguese-style magazine “Com a Greta by the air…” for 20:30 that day, which will be on stage in the collective's concert hall until May 31st.

The current news once again inspires amusing scribbles, with timely and accurate notes on the daily life of Portimão and its people, keeping alive a tradition that has been around for more than half a century, through good-humored criticism.

This year, the Boa Esperança magazine did not make its debut at Carnival, as it used to. But, taking into account the national projection that the show has already achieved, it will not cease to be a success.

All the more so because there will now be a new challenge, full of humor and rhythm, in which the spectator will follow the trip in a hot air balloon starring the little Swedish girl “Greta”, who will be accompanied by friends, in search of a solution for the preservation of the planet… Or did they find a graceful way to skip school?

With original texts and lyrics by Carlos Pacheco, the show will be performed by the author himself, in front of a cast consisting of Flávio Vicente, Sandra Rodrigues, Soraia Correia, João Cintra, Ricardo Neto, Filipa Goulart, Mariana Jobin, Lara Guerreiro, Rita Ferreira and Vânia Lourenço.

The performances will take place on Fridays and Saturdays, from 21:30 pm, and on Sundays at 14:30 pm and 17:30 pm, tickets can be reserved between 15:00 pm and 21:00 pm by calling 282 422 976, 967188290 or 910 418 476, where to additional information should be requested.
