Farense drew this Sunday with Porto B by 1-1, in a game counting for the 20th round of the II Liga, which was played at Estádio Dr. Jorge Sampaio, in Vila Nova de Gaia.

The Algarve were in advantage for almost the entire game, but ended up giving up the draw and did not take advantage of the fact that the National leader also lost points.

Farense soon took the lead, with Ryan Gauld deflecting a cross from the right side of the Algarve's attack in the best possible way, putting the visitors 1-0 ahead.

Losing, Porto tried to counter their luck, but despite having more possession and creating some situations, they couldn't score.

Farense, on the other hand, tried to get out fast for the counterattack whenever they could and was close to expanding their advantage.

The equalizer ended up coming, in the 83rd minute, from a penalty. Nkeng was faster than Hugo Marques, who brought down the Porto striker in the penalty area. Called to convert. Fábio Vieira was unforgiving.

The 1-1 remained until the end.

With this result, Farense now has 38 points, two less than Nacional, and continues in the 2nd position of the II League, when 20 rounds have been played.
