Libraries in the municipality of Loulé are collecting books for São Tomé and Príncipe

This was the way found to commemorate the Reading Week, which takes place between the 9th and 13th of March

The network of libraries in the municipality of Loulé is promoting, until 13 March, a campaign to collect used books to give to São Tomé and Príncipe.

The initiative is carried out in partnership with the Liga dos Combatentes de Loulé and the Portuguese School of São Tomé and Príncipe – CELP.

The books can be delivered to the libraries of private, public and professional schools in the municipality, the Municipal Library of Loulé, the Documentation Center of the Municipal Museum of Loulé and the Manuel Viegas Guerreiro Foundation, entities that are part of the Library Network.

This was the way found by RBCL to commemorate the Week of Reading, which takes place between the 9th and 13th of March.

The books will be delivered to the Liga dos Combatentes de Loulé in the week after the Week of Reading, after which they will go to the Portuguese School of São Tomé and Príncipe – CELP, the entity responsible for distributing them to other schools and the rest of the community.
