A 19-year-old young man was caught, this Thursday, January 2, in flagrante delicto, while beating and stealing a person in Albufeira.
In a patrol action, the GNR military saw an individual lying on the ground being attacked by two suspects, who rummaged in his pockets and robbed him.
The guards intervened, "stop the crime", detaining one of the suspects after they had tried to escape.
As for the victim, “he ended up not suffering any injuries and his belongings were returned to him”, says the GNR.
The young man was taken to the GNR facilities and will be present at the Court of Albufeira this day for the application of coercive measures.
