The Algarve musician Bruno Maliji presents his new album in a concert this Friday, January 31st, at 21 pm, at the Auditorium of Solar da Música Nova, in Loulé.
This concert is part of the cycle “Ilustres Unknowns”, whose objective is to regularly value and promote emerging projects or little known to the Algarve public (based or not in the region) in the area of Music.
It was in 2018, with the release of his first solo original album entitled “aCRUstico”, where he presented his songs only with guitar and voice, that Bruno Maliji began his journey in music in his own name. This album was an important milestone in the career of the Algarve musician with 20 years of experience, taking him to new stages such as the MED Festival and even the Antena 1 Masterclass.
Currently, Bruno Maliji is preparing to enter the “2nd Stop” of his musical journey, which is supposed to be long. The release of this new album of originals makes known their songs with a renewed look, in the style of Portuguese rock, with songs that wander between social criticism and messages of homage and perseverance that reflect their way of seeing and being in life .
With new themes and from the previous album, the Algarve composer wanted to join this work with other musicians from completely different areas, such as fado and electronics, proving to be a perfect “marriage”.
In this concert to present the album “2.ª Paragem”, Bruno Maliji counts, in addition to the musicians who usually accompany him live, with the presence of special guests who participated in the recording of the album: Ricardo J. Martins (Portuguese guitar), Luís F. Santos (guitar in Íris and Fuza Flwoz), GiJoe (producer/DJ) and Vítor Correia (actor), resulting in an energetic show in which interaction and involvement with the audience are preponderant.
