Ferreiras is the new leader of the Algarve District Football Championship, after beating Culatrense (1-3), in the 11th round, played this Saturday, December 7th, taking advantage of another slip by Moncarapachense.
The former leader played in Lagoa and did not go beyond a 1-1. This is, moreover, Moncarapachense's second consecutive draw.
11 Esperanças could also have taken advantage of the slip, but lost against Louletano B (2-1), having even been overtaken by Loulé's team, which is now in 3rd place.
In the remaining games, Silves won 2-1 against Quarteira and Almancilense thrashed Guia (0-3).
Finally, Lusitano from Vila Real de Santo António, a historic team in Portuguese football, once again suffered a heavy defeat. This time it was Immortal to inflict the rout: 6-0.
