Arnold (former Vitória de Setúbal) joins Farense

Algarve team leads the II League

Arnold, a former football player for Vitória de Setúbal, is a reinforcement for Farense, arriving on loan until the end of the season.

The acquisition was announced this Sunday, December 29, by the Algarve team. Arnold is borrowed from the French Caen, who are in the Second Division of that country.

The athlete, who is capped by Congo, can play both on the right and on the far right. Arnold represented Vitória de Setúbal during three seasons (2015-2016 to 2017-2018), where he was a constant presence in the initial 11 of the Sadians.

Once the loan ends, Farense has a purchase option.

The Algarve team leads the II League and seems to be well on its way to move up to the top echelon of Portuguese football, already having 10 points in advance to 3rd place.

Farense's next game is next Sunday, January 5th, at 11:15 am, against Benfica B, at Estádio de São Luís, in Faro.
