The Christmas Fair in Lagoa – Aldeia Presépio is back and takes place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of December, in Largo do Auditório Municipal Carlos do Carmo.

The main attraction of the fair is once again the historic recreation of a live nativity village. Over the three days, the routine of Hebrew daily life will be recreated, with its crafts, crafts, commerce and customs.

In this scenario, there will be the birth of Jesus with the traditional relics of folkloric crucibles. There will also be other cultures present, with chants, dances, games, rumpus, weaving and dyeing, bakers and wool carders, skin tanners or potters.

«The fair will have more than 60 exhibitors with various regional products of the best quality, where you can make your Christmas purchases and, in this way, help the commerce and local artisans», guarantees the União de Freguesias de Lagoa e Carvoeiro.

The fair will start on Friday, at 10:00 am with the traditional parade of more than 600 native fathers through the streets of the city of Lagoa. During the three days there will be a tourist train running around the city to take visitors to the fair, free of charge.
