The Council of Ministers approved, this Thursday, the increase in the minimum wage to 635 euros as of January 2020, a measure that the Government estimates will cover 720 workers.
In a press conference at the end of the Council of Ministers meeting in Lisbon, Ana Mendes Godinho, minister of Labour, Security and Social Solidarity, announced that «the Government today approved the decree-law that provides for the updating of the value of the national minimum wage for 2020 for 635 euros'.
