The PS/Faro considers that the government of the PSD/CDS-PP executive, in the Algarve capital, "exceeded all limits" and, in a press conference, this Monday, listed several situations that they say are "drops of water that made the glass overflow" of the patience of the socialists.
Paulo Neves, president of the PS council/Faro, started by giving as an example the audit of the municipal company Ambifaro, for which the results are not yet known. At least these were not delivered to the Municipal Assembly.
«The Municipal Assembly, the supervisory body, approved the audit, but the executive did not award it right away. He only awarded it after the Judiciary Police entered the Chamber». According to Paulo Neves, «the audit has already passed the deadline» and «has been carried out with meetings with the executive. The executive knows the results and is asking the auditor to end up giving space to patch what might be wrong».
Socialists say that "the audit asks for documents from the Chamber, the Chamber does not deliver and, as it does not deliver, there is no final report."
Therefore, believes Paulo Neves, “the supervised executive is using the element of inspection to cover it up, it can only be. He treats the audit as his own thing, as if it were commissioned by him to improve the company's operation and, with this, he is withholding information from the Municipal Assembly. Also the lack of responses from the Chamber of Faro regarding to the lands of the Southern Regional Issuer which, according to the PS, belong to the autarchy, and not to RTP, was the target of criticism. “When we ask the president about the state of play, the answer is zero. Paulo Neves gave another example of how, for socialists, the executive is using the Municipality of Faro as "your thing".
«In 2011, the PS government, with Minister Dulce Bird, already in a period of international assistance, granted support of almost two million euros for the construction of houses for the relocation of fishermen in Praia de Faro. The Government gives this support, in 2013, already in the government of Passos Coelho, with Assunção Cristas as minister».

Paulo Neves recalls that «the PS voted in favor of the bridge, but we are not comfortable with the solution of changing the project to adjudicate by force».
The lack of a project for the Municipal Police, after the Government has already published the regulations, and the fact that the executive rejects socialist proposals, such as the reduction of IMI fees and IRC spills, to "later present the same proposals" , are another of the socialists' complaints.
For all this, Carlos Alberto, member of the Municipal Assembly of Faro, elected by the PS, said, at the press conference, where no socialist councilor was present, that «Rogério Bacalhau is a bluff, which makes navigation on sight, without a project for the city.
