Mão Morta take “No Fim Era o Frio” to Loulé on the Night of the Witches

After the concert at the Cine-Teatro, there will be an afterhours at Bafo de Baco

Mão Morta will present their most recent album “No Fim Era o Frio”, at Noite das Witches, 31 October, at 21 pm, at the Cine-Teatro Louletano.

The band's new work will be premiered in the south of the country, but according to Câmara de Loulé, there will be space in the show for «the greatest hits of the group from Braga».

After the concert, there will also be an afterhours “Mão Morta” at Bar Bafo de Baco, in Loulé, from 23:30, with the special collaboration of Jaya – Coffee Co. & Brunch.

According to Adolfo Luxúria Canibal, who has always been the lyricist and voice of Mão Morta, the album «presents itself as a dystopian narrative where concepts such as global warming or rising sea waters serve as a starting point and setting for a questioning and decomposition of different paradigms of everyday life”.

«These are paradigms that surround us and with which we relate and that we replicate every day – creating a familiarity with them that often prevents us from realizing them – diverted to another framework where familiarity becomes strange. that allows its perception», continues the leader of the band about the presentation of the album.

For Adolfo Luxúria Canibal, this album is «a dementing perception, in a fictional horizon that we never know if it's real or delusional and where the compositions created with the delocalized patterns of their primitive function give new lives and interpretations to the cosmological cold and human loneliness, here echoes of the same existential inadaptation and affective emptiness».

Loulé Chamber emphasizes that, live, «Mão Morta recreates dystopia, giving space for the stage to function as a terreiro for this demand for human warmth», with Adolfo Luxúria Canibal on voice, António Rafael Machado on keyboard and guitar, Vasco Vaz and Pedro Costa on guitars, Joana Longobardi on electric bass and Miguel Pedro Guimarães on drums.

The show has an estimated duration of 90 minutes, is recommended for people over 6 years old and tickets cost 12 euros or 10 euros for people over 65 and under 30, with the Friend Card applicable to this event.
