Assunção Cristas will abandon the leadership of the CDS-PP, following projections that point to a negative result for this party, in today's Legislative Elections.
“We assume the result with democratic humility (…) I gave my best for four years but I will not re-apply”, said the still leader of the centrists.
In the Algarve, the CDS will lose the deputy it counted on in the last two legislatures and could be behind the PAN, in other words, be the sixth most voted political force.
