The Albufeira Municipality Rally takes place on the weekend of 12th and 13th October.
This will be the sixth race, played on asphalt, of the South Rally Championship.
The competition starts on Saturday, October 12th, with a nightly Super Special, at 21 pm, between the intersection
of Albufeira's Firefighters and Rotunda dos Relógios, in an extension of 2,38 kilometers, in the middle of Avenida dos Descobrimentos.
The novelty for this year is the drift exhibition and the classic cars parade from 22:30.
On the 13th, Sunday, three more Special Classification Trials (PEC) will be held between the Algoz road and the
Tunis (Guia), in Canals (Ferreiras) and in Alcaria (Paderne), and will be covered three times each. In Guia, the Rally will run at 10:00 am, 11:40 am and 13:40 pm; in Ferreiras, at 10:15, 12:00, 14:00; and in Paderne at 10:35, 12:20 and 14:20.
The awards ceremony will take place on the podium in front of the City Hall at 16 pm.
This year, the competition also includes the 2nd KUMHO TYRE Challenge.
