QRER promotes an interpretive tour on dried fruits

An interpretative tour around the theme of dried fruits and their importance in the Algarve's barrocal will be promoted in Querença, on Saturday 31, between 16:30 pm and 19:30 pm, by the QRER – Cooperative for the Development of Low Density Territories.

During the three-kilometre circular walking route, which will be promoted on Saturday, «participants have the opportunity to spend a different evening, in the middle of the Algarve, and discover the importance of dried fruits and the traditional dryland orchard of this region. ».

«In the meantime, they will be able to enjoy moments of socializing and sharing knowledge with local inhabitants, as well as tasting artisanal liqueurs and tasting some products related to dried fruits. At the end, they will also take a small souvenir of the experience», according to QRER.

Those interested in participating can register until tomorrow, the 29th, at 17 pm, on the QRER Cooperative website.

The route has an easy degree of difficulty and is intended “for the general public, families and anyone interested in the rural environment”.

This activity of the QRER Cooperative is conceived and organized within the scope of the curricular internship in Tourism Management, by the student Maikel Ferreira, from the Hotel and Tourism School of the Algarve.
