Portimão will promote the International Masters Futsal 2019 between the 22nd and 25th of August, but it won't just be the stars of the top four teams that will compete in the tournament that will have the opportunity to play. Young players who join the Gira Movistar MegaCracks, an event that will take place in parallel to the competition, also at Portimão Arena, can also play a part.
This initiative, aimed at children from 6 to 12 years old, from the naughty levels, benjamins and children, will take place from 17:30 to 19:30 on 23 August.
In addition to mini-games, the organization promises «several challenges and lots of fun at the levels», in exercises «guided by some Inter Movistar players, including Ricardinho, considered the best futsal player in the world».
The interested can now register on the Portimão Chamber website, which organizes the tournament and this initiative, within the scope of the European City of Sport 2019.
«For the small participants, this will be a unique experience, due to the opportunity to socialize with some great players in the sport, and participation is free», illustrated the Portimão Chamber.
In addition to the sports aspect, «the initiative has a strong social character, by combining the practice of futsal with essential values for life such as equality, responsibility, team spirit, integration, solidarity, learning and culture, with lots of fun in the mix».
In addition to Inter Movistar, the International Masters Futsal will be attended by Sporting, European champion in title and holder of the 2018 trophy, Benfica, national champion, and the Kazakh team of Kairat Almaty, European vice-champion.
