A “Walk with History”, through the Historic Center of Mértola, takes place this Thursday, 11 July, from 21 pm, departing from the Parish Council headquarters.
The walk will pass by the Castle, Replica of Islamic House and Paleo-Christian Museum, located in the historic center of Mértola.
In the museum «there will be a tourism technician from the Municipality of Mértola who will explain and present the exhibits to all participants, promoting the history and heritage of Mértola».
The activity is promoted by the Department of Sports and Culture of the Parish Council of Mértola and has the collaboration of the Municipality of Mértola.
During the summer months, the Mértola Parish Council once again promotes the “A Summer with Culture 2019” initiative, whose objective is to diversify the offer of cultural activities in the parish's headquarters and encourage the population's participation in moments of leisure and conviviality .
