There will be plenty of entertainment on Armação de Pêra beach during the summer. Fitness classes, inflatables and awareness-raising actions for the preservation of the environment are the proposals of the City Council, which set up a program that will last until September.
Every day, those who want to keep in shape can participate in fitness classes, which vary from day to day. On Mondays and Saturdays the suggested modality is localized gymnastics, while on Tuesdays and Sundays it is Pilates. Bathers can also count on zumba on Thursdays and aerobics attach Friday.
On the 14th and 21st of July, the 15th and 25th of August and the 3rd of September, inflatables will be installed on the beach, where the little ones will be able to play between 10:00 and 17:00.
On July 14th and August 15th and 25th, the Extreme Foam inflatable with buoys will be installed. On the 21st of July there will be Kongro and on the 3rd of September the Banzai Splash entertainment will be installed.
«A set of equipment made available under the TransforMAR project will also be operating in this space, an initiative of the LIDL the municipality of Silvense joined and which aims to challenge people to collect plastics to transform them into equipment for the community. The physical activity circuit devices that will be in Armação de Pêra are precisely made with recycled materials and it is intended to sensitize all our visitors to take better care of the beach and the sea and nature in general, so that we can have an environment clean and cared for,” according to the Municipality of Silves.
