“Corrida Mar Azul” runs along the beaches of Ilha de Tavira

This competition is all sand race

The beaches of Ilha de Tavira are the stage this Sunday, 21st of July, from 10:30 am, of another “Corrida Mar Azul”. 

This competition, open to all men's and women's classes prior to 2007, is entirely run in the sand, consisting of two courses.

The mini-race, on a 2-kilometre route, starts at Terra Estreita and is aimed at children and beginners. The Mar Azul race, over a distance of five kilometers, starts at Praia do Barril and heads to the other levels.

Both races end on the beach of Ilha de Tavira with prize distribution at 12:00.

The concentration of athletes will be held in the following match locations: children and beginners (Terra Estreita – 9:45 am) and other levels (Praia do Barril – 10:00 am).

The time for the tests will be for children and beginners (10:30 am) and other levels (11:00 am).
