Algarvio João Virgínia on loan from Reading

Loan is valid for one season

The Algarve goalkeeper João Virgínia was loaned by Everton to Reading, a club that plays in the Championship, the English II Division. 

The loan is valid until the end of this season. Virgínia has already joined her teammates in Málaga, where Reading is preparing for the new season.

José Gomes, Portuguese and former coach of Rio Ave, is Reading's coach and, speaking to the English club's website, said that Virgínia is a «gifted goalkeeper».

"I am delighted that he now has an opportunity to fight for a place in the Reading goal," he added.

With passages in the formation of Ferreiras and Benfica, Virgínia, born in Algoz (Silves), also represented Arsenal, more Last season, he moved to Everton, trained by the Portuguese Marco Silva.
