Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, President of the Republic, will be present at the launch of CAT 12.0, the first Portuguese solar catamaran, built by the Algarve company Sun Concept, on the 15th of June, from 16:30 pm, at the Boat Show 2019, which will take place at the Vilamoura Marina.
Cat 12.0 is in the testing phase and «has the ability to ride in open sea, the ability to ride without a load for a whole day, or more. Also, if you navigate at a low speed, you can have unlimited autonomy».
The model that will be presented in Vilamoura also has the capacity to transport 25 people and is already sold to a maritime-tourism company on the island of Madeira.
