The French Theater Festival in the Algarve starts on June 22, with the presentation of the epic «Ballet La Fayette», at the Municipal Theater of Portimão.
Organized by the Algarve delegation of the Union des Français de l'Étranger association (UFE Algarve), the festival will take place between June this year and March 2020, at the Municipal Theaters of Portimão and Faro, with nine performances of «international recognition».
«More than a show, Ballet La Fayette transports us to unique moments of beauty, emotion and energy, through the tribute to a man who desires, above all, the well-being of men, human rights and freedom in all lands'.
«With realistic choreography, starring eight dancers, mixing classical dance, hip hop, music and film excerpts in a redopio of history and liveliness».
This first session was supported by the Municipality of Portimão. Being open to the public, tickets are now available to be purchased directly at Teatro TEMPO, FNAC, CTT, ECI, Worten or online, through the website bol.time.pt.
