Turning a human head into an artistic object. The challenge was accepted by 11 visual artists who, this Wednesday, June 19, inaugurate the exhibition “A Cabeça”, at the Amarelarte association, in Faro.
The show is curated by Nuno Murta and photography by Marco Cavaco.
With total creative freedom and without any kind of interference, the artists inhabited the immobile head, transforming it and giving it other lives, other senses.
The result of the interventions was photographed to perpetuate these experiences of an ephemeral nature.
This exhibition is, therefore, the result of the relationship established between model, artists and photographer.
The 11 participating artists are Ambra Zotti, Camila Barros, Eduardo Pinto, José Jesus, Júlio Antão, Maria Adelaide Fonseca, Mateus Verde, Nicole Lissy, Patrícia Serrão, Pidutournée and Sílvia Pilar-Fernandes.
